At the constituency of the Czech-Slovakian Union, which took place on Sunday, March 3, in Brno, 217 delegates participated, beginning the conference with a prayer and a spiritual word from Barna Magyarosi, executive secretary of the Inter-European Division.

After agreeing on the agenda and program, the chairman, the secretary, and the treasurer of the union presented reports on the union’s activities in the past conference period. The delegates were also informed about how the union committee dealt with the negotiated and non-negotiated agenda items from the last conference. The elected preparatory committee then proposed the composition of three committees – the appointment committee, the commission committee, and the constitutional amendment committee.

At the proposal of the appointment committee, the delegates approved the previous secretary, Petr Čík, for the position of president of the union by more than 90% of the votes. Barna Magyarosi prayed for the new president after the election and wished him much wisdom, strength, and God's blessing in his further service. At the same time, he thanked the current chairman, Mikuláš Pavlík, for his service.

The delegates also decided on the composition of the new committee of the union and approved the election of the revision commission and some changes to the constitution. In the meantime, the nominating committee will continue its work in order to present the delegates with the names of two more union representatives - the secretary and the manager. The union conference will continue on the second day of negotiations on May 12, 2024.
