An incredible event took place in Acorn on Sunday, November 5. Adventist teenagers in Switzerland have been waiting two years for the JA (Jeunesse Adventiste) Sports Day. Suddenly, the day came.

It started at 10am with a short meditation on the importance of health and lifestyle. After praying, participants played a game to warm up, then split into two groups: Explorers and Firebrands.

One of the activities was an obstacle course. It was very intense, because participants had to crawl, aim a ball, climb, jump on a trampoline, and, finally, do a slalom.

Several monitors were at the stopwatches, so participants could go faster, and more people could run at the same time. There were almost 80 teenagers participating.

Around midday, a delicious and healthy picnic was organized, then people got ready for the afternoon, which promised to be just as good as the morning.

A handball tournament and a boules tournament were organized, followed by an awards ceremony for the morning's fastest times.

The tournament was very well organized, taking place in two halls, simultaneously. At the end, there was a big surprise in the handball finals: the favourite lost! In short, it was a day full of emotion, joy and enthusiasm.
