St Albans, United Kingdom [Paul Tompkins - tedNEWS; Stephan Sigg - EUD News] Attending an Adventist Youth Congress is part of the Seventh-day Adventist Youth Heritage, and the opportunity is here again this year with the Pan-European Youth Congress taking place from 30 July-4 August 2013 in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Congresses are Meeting Places for Adventist Youth from all around Europe, and further afield; Memory Events (Munich, Wroclaw, Budapest, Arhus, Exeter – the list goes on) and significant Spiritual Opportunities for all who take part. They are quite simply events not to be missed, as they only happen every four years, and are for Senior Youth aged 16+.
The theme of this Congress will be The Power of One. This is to highlight the centrality of Jesus Christ for our Adventist faith and His power to save and change our lives. Each day will highlight a specific aspect of the power of Jesus as led by a number of well-known International and European speakers.
We also aim to make a real IMPACT in Novi Sad and a whole day of the Congress is being set aside for the theme “Let’s Do It.” We want to leave the city a better place for having had Adventist Youth there and many community projects are being planned in and around the central meeting hall.
Novi Sad is a university city and 1 of the accommodation options will be in the nearby halls of residences.
