The 14th International Pathfinder Camporee will take place from 31 July to 5 August 2023 on the campus of the Friedensau University (Burg).
The International Pathfinder Camporee for Southern and Western Europe takes place every 4 years. More than 2,700 Scouts and Guides, between 12 to 15 years of age, from 14 European countries come together to spend a week learning from each other and experiencing nature, adventure, scouting activities, and Christian faith.
The 14th EUD Camporee takes place under the motto #FOLLOW ME - Share your story. About 2,400 young people will participate, while about 300 staff members will make sure that everything goes well.

"As a University, we are very happy that after 22 years we can once again welcome the International Pathfinder camporee with more than 2,700 participants on our campus in Friedensau”, shared Tobias Koch, chancellor and managing director of the Friedensau campus.
“May the scouts not only enjoy all the activities we have prepared for them but have an encounter with Jesus that will change their lives forever”, declared Jonatan Tejel, youth director of the Inter-European Division (EUD).
“The Camporee this year is really a special meeting - also for us citizens of Friedensau”, said Rüdiger Schröter, local mayor of Friedensau. “It is great that, after 2001, a camporee of the Adventist Youth is taking place here, again, and that so many scouts can get to know Friedensau with all its possibilities”, concluded Schröter.
