The investigation into the weekend attacks in the US is moving fast.

Twenty-nine people were injured when an explosion went off in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York at around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. All of those admitted to hospitals had been released.

ISIS said that a man who stabbed nine people at a Minnesota mall on Saturday evening was a "soldier of the Islamic state", according to the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq.

An explosion in a garbage can near a Marine Corps charity run in New Jersey on Saturday is being investigated as a possible terrorist act. No one was injured in the blast.

"Again, we reject any form of terrorist activities, that undermine our fundamental and universal values of liberty and dignity", so the Press Office of the Inter-European Division. "Despite the violence, we will not give into fear and hatred. Love is the only way. As One World, we fall and rise together – despite our cultural, religious and ethnic differences.

In the face of all adversity and suffering, we ask God to grant to all of us wisdom to discover the right. We offer our prayers for all those affected by these terrible events."
