”People enjoying the moment when the alert state will end and will return to normal. However, the effects of the pandemic will continue to last on everyone, but especially on disadvantaged families, and involvement of the entire team is necessary for them to feel that we are not abandoning, but we are still close to them. Even if other projects and agencies specifically involved for aid during Covid-19 period will be completed, ADRA Romania still continue to support those in difficulty.May it be a financial or emotional imbalance, we want the beneficiaries of ADRA projects to discover through our involvement a divine characteristic, certain, a steady love that echoes time and space. We thank God for giving us this opportunity to serve others and we can work with donors to further support the projects.” Anca Tepuș, Psychologist ADRA Romania

”The pandemic took us all by surprise. And beyond the social and material difficulties, there were a series of psychological manifestations, difficult to manage for our beneficiaries (anxiety, stress, depressive elements, difficulties in managing relationships with children or partners, etc.). We have been and will be close to them, further, not only materially (through the project “Humanitarian support COVID-19”), but also psychologically. To overcome all other obstacles, we need a clear mind, good adaptability, and a focus on the things we can change, as well as the acceptance of those beyond our sphere of influence. There will be a stage (post-pandemic), in which the beneficiaries will need emotional support to adapt to a new reality. And we are close to them.” Alina Bordas-Mohorea, Psychologist/Psychotherapist ADRA Romania.
